Shortly before the release of the new raid “Edge of Redemption”, Bungie is conducting a brief downtime. Destiny 2 needs to be in top shape for Day One, and therefore you will be kicked out of the game for a short time. We will show you for how long.
What you need to know today: Today Bungie is taking the servers down for a very brief downtime before the release of the new raid “Edge of Redemption”. Bungie wants to ensure a smooth launch, which is why you will be kicked from the servers for a short time.
Maintenance on 07.06. – All Times for Server Down
These times are important today: Bungie informs its players via x.com (formerly Twitter) about the exact downtime. The servers are planned to be unreachable today for 1:00 hours.
Here is the schedule for the maintenance:
- Around 15:00 the servers will go offline. Players will be automatically kicked from the game.
- At 16:00 the shooter is expected to be back online and you can log in again. The downtime ends
Also, keep in mind that third-party applications and the official companion app may also not be correctly accessible for a while, so you cannot use them.
What Changes with the New Update in The Final Shape
Following issues are known: There are also many issues in The Final Shape that players are complaining about. Bungie has noted some, but it is not known which of them will be fixed (via bungie.net). However, the following bugs could be addressed:
- PC players who have 3D audio enabled cannot hear any sound
- The pop-up “Leaving for the Final Shape” has the wrong key art
- When prism weapons activate their new ulti while gliding, they fall
- The hunter aspect that increases your blades of fire ulti does not work
- The description of the arc staff ulti of the hunter does not mention a blind effect after a three-combo or slam attack
