A new week in Destiny 2 means a new patch with various bug fixes for the loot shooter. When the server downtime starts this time, you can find out here.
The patch notes have now been revealed, and indeed, the new maps for the Crucible have been implemented today.
We wish you a nice evening and uninterrupted loot rounds in Destiny 2!
What you need to know today: Today, Bungie is taking its servers down for routine maintenance. There are no important dates on the calendar, so no new content from the “Into the Light” event will be released.
MeinMMO will keep you updated. We’ll tell you how long the downtime will last. Additionally, we will update this article as soon as there is new information.
Maintenance on 07.05. – All times for server downtime
These times are important today: Bungie informs its players via x.com (formerly Twitter) about the exact downtime. The servers are planned to be unavailable for 3 hours and 15 minutes.
This is what the maintenance schedule looks like:
- At 3:00 PM, background maintenance will start on all platforms.
- Around 3:45 PM, the servers will go offline. Players will be automatically kicked from the game.
- At 7:00 PM, the shooter is expected to be back online, and you can log back in.
- The maintenance will continue in the background until 11:00 PM.
Also, keep in mind that third-party applications and the official companion app may also be inaccessible for a while, preventing you from using them.
What changes with the new update in Season 23
The following issues are known: Even in the Season of the Wish, there are many issues that players are complaining about. Bungie has noted some, but it is not known which of them will be fixed (via bungie.net). However, the following bugs could be addressed:
- There are supposed to be significant changes to the Sandbox for PvP.
- There are missing options in the fireteam finder, such as adding Bungie friends.
- Some legendary emotes are being sorted alongside exotic emotes.
- Veist rifles can only be partially rotated when inspected.
- The shotgun “Aspirations of the Mindbender” no longer glows when fired.
- Some rocket launchers are no longer displayed when inspected.
- Old artifacts are still shown in players’ inventories.
Patch Notes for the update on 07.05. in Destiny 2
What’s in the patch notes? A complete overview of all fixed issues and improvements will be available only this evening or afternoon, after the update goes live.
We will update our article and provide you with the link to the patch notes. Because it is possible that the patch notes will be changed or corrected by Bungie afterward.
These are all the current information regarding today’s update. If there are any unforeseen changes, we will, of course, keep you updated. So feel free to check back again.
