In Destiny 2, the servers are down today, on February 27. Bungie is performing maintenance, and update 1.1.3 is being deployed. Servers offline on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Update: Since 6:15 PM, the update can be downloaded. It is approximately 83 MB in size. Here are the patch notes for 1.1.3.
Today is the day, the update 1.1.3 is being released. This marks the next milestone on the Destiny 2 spring roadmap for 2018.
However, maintenance work is necessary beforehand. Destiny 2 will briefly go offline:
- At 5 PM our time, preparations for maintenance begin. You will not be able to log in. PS4, Xbox One, and PC are affected.
- At 6 PM the servers will be shut down. If you are still in the game now, you will be roughly kicked. From now on, update 1.1.3 should be available for download.
- Around 7 PM the servers will be back online. However, keep in mind that Bungie never strictly adheres to these time estimates.

New Features of Update 1.1.3 – What Changes?
The most important new features of update 1.1.3 are already known. Additionally, Bungie recently shared a few bug fixes that will be addressed at the same time.

The most important new features are the revisions to Nightfall and the medals:
- Nightfall Scoring and High-Score Tracking: In the Nightfall strike, the time limitation is replaced by strike scoring.
- There will be a first version of Prestige Nightfall Challenge Cards.
- Overhaul of the medals for locations, crucible, and nightfall. You can read more about the “new” medals and the auras here.
- Your team members will be displayed on the strike card.
- A public text chat is coming to PC.
- In the Companion App, players can interact with mods and shaders

Bug Fixes with 1.1.3 – Preview
The following bug fixes are merely a preview – they are not yet complete:
- A bug is being fixed, where players can exit the intended play area with the Phoenix Dive ability.
- A bug is being fixed, where players could receive a loss in Trials of the Nine if opponents left multiple matches in a row.
- The Crucible helmet ornament will now progress in unlock even for “Trials of the Nine” victories in addition to competitive match wins.
- Projectiles from “The Colony” now correctly track enemies when the frame rate on PC is set above 30 FPS.
