In Destiny 2, the start of the Season of the Drifter is approaching. Bungie has now announced a start date for this Season 6.
Release of Season 6: Mark March 5, 2019, on your calendar. On this day, Season 6 begins. That is two and a half weeks from Tuesday.
This confirms information from the Blizzard Shop, stating that Season 5 will end on March 4.
So you don’t have much time left to check off your goals that you still want to achieve in Season 5.
When will the annual pass content arrive? Bungie has only announced the start date of the new season so far. The paid, new annual pass content will probably be released a week later, on March 12. However, this has not been confirmed.
The contents of Season 6 and Joker’s Wild
Are there new details about the contents? Bungie only announced the start date and added that there would be some exciting developments for your Guardian lifestyle. Additionally, there will be bug fixes.
The known information about Season 6: Season 6 is called “Season of the Drifter” and will be free for all Guardians. It includes:
- New decorative rewards
- New triumphs and lore
- New rank rewards for Gambit, Crucible, and Vanguard
- The Iron Banner
- A spring event
- A new exotic quest

For Forsaken owners within Season 6:
- An increase in the maximum power level to 700
- New maps and private matches for the Gambit mode
Paid annual pass contents
Contents of the “Joker’s Wild” DLC:
- Access to “The Joker’s Wildcard” weapons and gear
- Xur bounties. The Agent of the Nine will apparently regain relevance
- A new Gambit experience
- A new exotic quest
- A new weekly quest as part of the DLC
- Additional new triumphs and lore books related to the events surrounding Joker’s Wildcard
