The new raid from Destiny 2, Leviathan, offers plenty of space for explorers. Hidden in the endless corridors are chests. You need different keys for this. We will show you the locations.
The new raid in Destiny 2 is an overwhelming experience. Behind the normal raid area hides an elaborate system of corridors, switches, and jumping puzzles.
And in this huge underground area, there are 9 hidden chests. You can only open the chests if you have the corresponding key. You can earn these keys in the individual phases of the raid. Which key you get is random – all members of a fireteam receive the same key, which makes the chest search a bit easier since everyone needs the same one.
The well-known streamer Arekkz has now released a video that will help you find all 9 chests. Keep in mind that the area beneath the Leviathan is gigantic. For some chests, you will easily spend 10 minutes.
And what’s inside? The chests spit out legendary engrams, Calus tokens, and sometimes even exotic engrams.

This is how you access the underground of Leviathan – All chests
To even gain access to the chests, you need to go to a secret room directly under the point where you started the raid. Here you will find six levers that must be activated in the correct order. If you number the levers from left to right, the order is 1-5-3-2-4-6.
Now you can set out to the chest area by heading to the two converging pipes. There is a small jumping passage in the darkness that leads you to all the chests.
To gain access to some chests, you need to eliminate four guardian robots before they can call for reinforcements. They call for reinforcements as soon as a guardian is in their red search radius. So it’s best to equip a rocket launcher and take them out before they can see you.
If you fail, just go through a door out of the relevant room and re-enter after activating the lever again. If you did everything correctly, a door with the chest inside will open. The corresponding doors are easy to recognize; they are golden adorned and designed in the typical raid style.
Engine Key – Kiste
The way to the chest that requires the Engine Key is shown in the video from 2:17 minutes. Here you need to eliminate the four guardians without being seen before you gain access to the chest.
Fan Key – Kiste
From minute 4:11 in the video, Arekkz shows you how to reach the fan chest. You need to disable a huge fan before it literally slams you against the wall. After the second fan, the chest is located on a ledge on the left side.
Pipeline Key – Kiste
The chest in the pipe area can be found in the video from minute 4:41. Here again, you need to stealthily eliminate four guardians before they raise the alarm. If you did everything correctly, a golden adorned door will open again.
Conduit Key – Kiste
The path to the Conduit Key is long – Arekkz looks for it for you in the video from minute 5:23. Here again, you need to eliminate four guardians, but they are inconveniently spread out. So communicate well to avoid being discovered!
Irrigation Key – Kiste
The hunt for the Irrigation Key can be seen from minute 7:39 in the video. To reach the chest, you need to complete a tightrope act on drainage pipes. The chest is otherwise freely accessible.
Drain Key – Kiste
From minute 8:18, the video leads you to the Drain Key. Here you will again have to deal with four guardians before the door to the chest opens.
Transfer Key – Kiste
The chest that requires the Transfer Key can be seen from minute 10:22 in the video. The chest is located quite far at the beginning. Again, you need to destroy guardians.
Armory Key – Kiste
From minute 11:21 you can make your way from the transfer area to the armory. In the armory, you will encounter the familiar guardians again, who need to be eliminated quickly before the door – and thus the access to the chest – opens.
Aqueduct Key – Kiste
The last chest for which you have collected the Aqueduct Key is searched for by Arekkz in the video from minute 12:07. The chest is located in the area of the same name, the aqueduct. The chest is located on a ledge on the left side in front of some rotating platforms.
