The raid “Last Wish” in Destiny 2 has a room that fulfills wishes. You receive a badge, quickly reach raid encounters, or unlock additional content.
A secret in Destiny 2 Forsaken: In the raid “Last Wish”, there is a hidden raid room with a so-called “Wall of Wishes” where you can activate various raid symbols. With the right combination of symbols, certain wishes will come true.
Bungie itself refers to this room as a type of “cheat code” for Destiny 2, which triggers mechanics or sets off Easter eggs.
Many players still have one or the other wish open – whether as a veteran or a newcomer. We have therefore updated the article and compiled all known wishes for you in an overview.
This is how you enter the Room of Wishes: Start the raid “Last Wish” in the Dreaming City. A gate will now open before you, which you pass through. On your left side, there is a small rift in the wall through which you reach the first raid encounter. However, you do not go directly to the first boss, but instead crawl into the secret room, which is quite well hidden.

In the room, there is a wall with 20 circles:
Shoot one of the circles to make a symbol appear. Shoot again, and another symbol will appear.
Now you must enter a kind of symbol code into this wall. When the correct symbols are displayed on all circles, something happens.
Entering the correct symbols can take a few minutes – because if you accidentally skip the symbol, you must go through all the symbols again until it appears again in the rotation.
How do I find the symbol codes? A code that makes an emblem jump was apparently found in a cutscene. The remaining codes are said to be hidden throughout the Destiny 2 world – one was found on Nessus and the rest discovered in the raid. Currently, 12 codes have been compiled on reddit, according to data mining there should be 14.

- Wish 1 – Grants an Ethereal Key (for after the final boss):
- Wish 2 – Spawns a chest between the raid boss Morgeth and the chamber. You need a Glittering Key for the chest, which you receive when completing the raid:
- Wish 3 – You receive an emblem:
- Wish 4 – You teleport to Shuro Chi (raid boss 2) – and can loot the raid chest at the bridge without having to defeat a boss first. Andy Edition also shows you the way in the above video:
- Wish 5 – You teleport to Morgeth (raid boss 3):
- Wish 6 – You teleport to the chamber (raid encounter 4):
- Wish 7 – You teleport to Riven (raid final boss):
- Wish 8 – The song “Hope for the Future” will play:
- Wish 9 – Failsafe “takes over” and has a lot to say throughout the raid:
- Wish 10 – As previously with Failsafe, with the 10th wish now the Wanderer suddenly has a word to say in the raid:
- Wish 11 – Headshots in the raid cause a “Grunt Birthday Party” style effect in the raid:
“Grunt Birthday Party” should be familiar to Halo players. In the games, skulls can be found that trigger different effects. With “Grunt Birthday Party,” a headshot on Grunt enemies made their heads explode and confetti rained down. How this effect looks in Destiny 2 can be seen in this video:
- Wish 12 – Adds effects around your head (Traveler Sphere, butterflies, etc.):
- Wish 13 – Activates Petras Run. This is a ruthless version of the raid, where every death of any fireteam member is harshly punished. The entire raid team will be sent back to orbit and the raid must be restarted.
- Wish 14 – Spawns possessed “eggs” in the raid that can be destroyed with the Wisher:
Whether there is a 15th wish is currently unknown.
If you entered the correct symbols, you must stand on the circle in the center of the room. Then the wish will come true. This is also indicated in the game on the left side of the screen.
You can, by the way, enter the room solo. You do not need a fireteam to enter the wishes. However, if your wish teleports you to a raid encounter, you will find yourself as a lonely Guardian in front of a big enemy.
