Some Guardians have discovered a glitch in the Forsaken raid of Destiny 2 that will surely evoke nostalgia for many Destiny veterans. Finally, it’s possible to shove a boss around in Destiny again.
A glitch in Destiny 2 currently allows players to shove one of the raid bosses from “Last Wish” through the air. This allows the massive ogre “Morgeth, the Spirekeeper” to be shoved off the plate just like Atheon from the Vault of Glass in Destiny 1.
What does the video show? In the video, the YouTuber Gladd demonstrates how this trick works – even though he did not discover this glitch himself. The user @iSw1ftyyyy posted it first on Twitter.

How does this trick work? As seen in Gladd’s video, it doesn’t really take much. The only thing needed is a heavy attack with a sword that has an upward slash.
In doing so, the massive ogre is catapulted high into the air with each hit and can be shoved off the combat area into the abyss with multiple uppercuts. This can be done as a team and easily solo.

Does this trick help me in the raid? Although it worked initially with Atheon in Destiny 1 and as cool as this trick is – the glitch is completely useless for progressing in the Forsaken raid and offers no advantages in the fight.
So it’s just a fun gimmick that evokes old memories for many Guardians, as numerous comments under Gladd’s video on YouTube confirm.
While the boss can be swept off the combat area this way, the game does not register it as a kill, in contrast to the previous boss fight in the Vault of Glass. This means the encounter cannot be successfully completed this way. There is nothing left but to wipe and handle the fight against Morgeth normally.
Be honest – have you ever shoved Atheon or the Templar into the abyss?
