Good news for players of the PS4 version of Destiny 2. Bungie plans to deliver HDR support shortly after launch.
Recently, many smaller videos from Bungie have surfaced, trying to make Destiny 2 appealing to us. The launch of Destiny 2 is now just around the corner, and everyone should know, what to expect in Destiny 2.
An interesting detail has now been discovered in a trailer.

The recently released trailer “What is Destiny 2 for a game” shows that PS4 players can expect the implementation of HDR – High Dynamic Range – “shortly” after the launch of Destiny 2. Interestingly, the mention of HDR only appears in the English video – the German version lacks the reference.
High Dynamic Range is a feature that can present games with high contrast. The colors appear more detailed. Players with newer televisions can look forward to this.
Destiny 2 on PC already delivers HDR and 4K in the beta, provided you have the sufficiently powerful hardware to display such details.
When the feature will be available for Xbox One (X) is unclear. There is no information from Bungie on this. They will only talk about Xbox One X when it has been released.
What “soon” means in the case of the Playstation 4 is up for speculation. However, since the indication is already appearing now, it can be expected that a corresponding patch is indeed planned shortly after the launch – otherwise, Bungie would be more cautious with such statements.
Do you think that console players on Microsoft consoles will have to wait a long time for this feature? Let us know in the comments!
