The ultimate PvE challenge, as Bungie calls it, is coming! Next week, the Prestige Raid starts – a harder version of the Leviathan Raid that is meant to test all your skills.
- The Prestige Raid begins on Tuesday, October 10, at 7 PM.
- It has no end date. The Prestige Raid is expected to remain active permanently.
Information on the Prestige Raid in Destiny 2
On October 10, you will receive a new invitation from Calus, who wants to welcome you to the Prestige Raid. The following information is known:
- The recommended power level is 300. In the normal raid, it is 270.
- The enemies are stronger and smarter, and there will be new mechanics that require new strategies.
- As a reward, you will receive powerful gear.
The community manager DeeJ reveals a few more exciting details:
- At Bungie, they believe that not every Guardian will successfully complete this activity.
- The changes to the mechanics in the encounters are minimal, but they are there.
- There are unique rewards in the Prestige Raid.
- And: There is no “favor” at your character level. This means: You cannot further increase your power level. 305 remains the absolute maximum.
You should understand the invitation to the Prestige Raid as an invitation to show the world that you are among the best raiders in Destiny 2.
By the way, there will be a “World First” again. Bungie is watching you closely and will announce the fireteam that can conquer the Prestige Raid first.
