Destiny 2 has introduced the new Season of the Splicer in a cool trailer. The video hides a secret code that rewards you with a fancy emblem. We reveal the secret and how to redeem the code.
This is the secret cosmetic: In Destiny 2, the new Season 14 starts on May 11. To get Guardians excited for the fresh content, Bungie has released a flashy trailer with lots of neon colors and synthesizer music.
You can already get the secret badge “Blooming Sequence” before the new season, which shines in neon blue and purple. Finding the code wasn’t easy at all, as it was well hidden in the new promotional materials.
MeinMMO reveals the code, where to redeem it, and which puzzle the Guardians cracked in record time.
Here is the hidden code: Some well-known content creators like Byf, GrenaderJake, or Fallout have received a special version of Bungie’s trailer, which they published on social media. Strange symbols and sequences are hidden in the cryptic images.
Quick-witted Guardians didn’t take long to decipher the mystery (Raid-Secrets via reddit).
If you put the combinations together correctly, you get a 9-digit number sequence:
7D4-PKR-MD7
With this code, you can get the secret badge.
Easily redeem the secret code now
This is how you get the emblem: You do not redeem the number combination in Destiny 2 itself, but on Bungie’s website.
Go to the “Redeem Page” at the top right. First, log in with your profile and select your preferred platform. Then select “Redeem code” and enter “7D4-PKR-MD7” into the empty field below.

Where is the badge in the game? Once you have successfully entered the code, you will receive a confirmation. Then start Destiny 2.
- In your collection, go to the “Flair” section.
- Under the “General” section, you will find the new badge all the way to the right.
- Take it out of the collection and equip it normally.

Bungie loves to challenge Guardians with riddles
In the past, Bungie has often surprised Guardians with secret codes.
For example, players were able to get 3 secret cosmetics as preparation for the Beyond Light expansion. Back then, the codes were hidden behind Morse code. When the DLC Forsaken was on the horizon, a code for a secret emblem was hidden in a comic.
But even in the game itself, Guardians are constantly faced with massive puzzles that they are supposed to solve together as a community:
- Some streamers get so into solving riddles that Bungie has had to send them to bed.
- Another brain teaser remained unsolved for a whole 2 years
- And even in Destiny 1, it was about solving tricky riddles
