The path to the best loot in Destiny 2 is not easy and often quite long. This is also true for the dungeon “Sog der Habsucht”. Especially the Sparrow track and the Servitor encounter are challenging and time-consuming. However, players have already discovered two cheese glitches to help them with the loot.
The new dungeon “Sog der Habsucht” has been in the game for a month and brought entertaining variety as well as interesting loot, which we have listed for you below:
- Artistic armor pieces: Feature an additional fifth bonus mod slot
- the popular hand cannon Eyasluna: Drops only from the final boss.
- the Arc sword “Hero of Ages” : Alongside the Trials sword “Solas-Narbe” , it is the only one that can drop with the perk “Chain Reaction”.
It’s no wonder that players are very eager to farm the new dungeon. However, for some players this has taken on a scale that Bungie did not intend and can no longer be considered a legitimate playstyle.
What glitch have players discovered? Guardians have now released a video for the Destiny 2 community on YouTube that shows how to skip the entire Servitor encounter outside the map.
Here, a little skill, lots of mobility, and a sword are enough. Thanks to this combination, players save a significant amount of time in the Servitor encounter. However, since this is not a permitted game mechanic, we will not provide a detailed guide on the glitch.

If you are invisible, the Sparrow track will be a piece of cake
This is by the way not the only way to make the dungeon “Sog der Habsucht” easier. Also in the Sparrow passage, you can make the mine race easier with a small trick. Especially if you like to play Void Hunter or have one with you.
How does the little invisibility trick work? As a Void Hunter, you have the charged melee attack in the form of a smoke bomb available through the super “Pathfinder.” If you throw this in front of you, you become invisible.
Interestingly, this effect lasts even when you get on your Sparrow, although it does not become invisible.
How well this currently works has been demonstrated by Destiny 2 player Alex D. in the top strike “Hollow Hideout.” He drives invisibly and completely undisturbed through the enemies, who only look around in confusion.
With some suitable exotics, the invisibility effect can also be improved, such as with the Exotic “Graviton Forfeit”. Additionally, your Hunter needs a 100 Strength for it to work optimally. This way, you always get your smoke bomb back in time and can become invisible again.
How strong this invisibility effect currently is has also been recently demonstrated by Esoterikk in a video with his Hunter.
The invisibility variant for activities in Destiny 2 is, however, unlike glitching under the maps, not a bypass of the game mechanics. With the right exotic and corresponding armor values, it is well playable. How much this can be considered overpowered will have to be seen.
A small change would prevent glitching: Unfortunately, there is still no function in Destiny 2 that prevents players from exploiting such glitches. In other games, when you leave the map or the area, you are automatically teleported back. That would already prevent players from using such shortcuts to find shortcuts.
What does Bungie say about the cheese? The developer has not yet commented on the rediscovery of the cheese for the Servitor phase. So there is no statement yet on whether and when players can expect a fix for it. However, it is very likely that now that the cheese has become known, Bungie will address the problem as quickly as possible in one of the upcoming hotfix updates.
