What changes with update 2.0.0 in Destiny 2 – A preview
Keep in mind that this is not a complete list of changes. The full patch notes will be released on Tuesday.
Changes to the classes
All three classes will be further adjusted with update 2.0.0.

Hunter:
With the Hunter, the sniper dodge is now counted as reloading. It can interact with Kill Clip, Rat King, etc.
Additionally, there has been a revision of some Hunter exotics. Many PvP fans have particularly hoped for adjustments to the Worm Crown.
- With the helm of the Heavenly Night Hawk, 33% of super energy is regained when a target is eliminated by a shot with the Golden Gun.
- The helm of the Worm Crown no longer starts the regeneration of health and shields. Instead, it grants increased health and shield at the start of the dodge, instead of at the end.

Warlock:
The effectiveness of the Healing Rift has been increased. Furthermore, the Empowering Rift now increases precision damage in PvP. Previously, the maximum bonus damage there equaled the weapon’s precision damage.
There have also been changes to some Warlock exotics. At least two exotic armor pieces have been improved.
- The helm of the Skull of Dire Ahamkara now grants more super energy from Nova Bomb kills. Furthermore, eliminating higher-tier enemies also grants more super energy.
- The Leg Armor Transversive Steps improves mobility. Additionally, after a short sprint, the currently equipped weapon is automatically reloaded.

Titan:
With the Titan’s barricade during firefights, Guardians no longer need to crouch to reload. The magazine is now fed with ammunition over time.
There were also some changes to Titan exotics. In this context, at least two armor pieces for Titans have been revised.
- The helm of the 14th Holy grants allies a temporary overshield when they pass through the protective dawn.
- The Mask of the Quiet One grants its wearer increased energy retention from damage taken. Additionally, kills grant health when critically injured.

Grenades:
With grenades, there will be some adjustments in the framework of update 2.0.0. The damage has especially been increased. However, grenades should still not deliver one-hit kills in the Crucible – at least not against full health and shields of the opponent.
Axion Bolt (Voidwalker Warlock):
- The base damage has been increased.
- Also, the duration until the tracking strength weakens has been increased.
Flashbang Grenade (Striker Titan):
- The base damage has been increased.
Incendiary Grenade (Sunbreaker Titan):
- The base damage has been increased.
Storm Grenade (Stormcaller Warlock):
- The base damage has been increased.
Scattering Grenade (Voidwalker Warlock):
- The overall range and the damage fall-off range of the explosions have been adjusted again to cause more reliable damage.
Magnet Grenade (Sentinel Titan), Fusion Grenade (Dawnblade Warlock), and Flux Grenade (Arcstrider Hunter):
- The base damage has been increased.
- The damage is the same on the explosion of the grenade, regardless of whether it sticks to a target or the target steps on it.
- Magnet grenades explode only a second time if they stick to a target.
- The second explosion happens not just at the grenade itself but hits each individual target that was caught by the original detonation.
Jump Grenade (Arcstrider Hunter):
- Increased impact damage for each jump drone hit for increased potential total damage.
Voidwall Grenade (Sentinel Titan, Nightstalker Hunter):
- Increased damage of the first Voidwall wave.

Various Improvements
Furthermore, Bungie has provided insight into some general improvements to the game that will come with update 2.0.0. Finally, you can also adjust the color pattern of the swords.
- Shaders can now also be applied to swords.
- A timer has been added to the status effect for Healing Rift, Empowering Rift, and the Firefight Barricade. This is to better communicate the duration of these class abilities.
- Escaped Wanted enemies from the Prison of Elders are now roaming in the open world. However, they will not drop rewards until the launch of Forsaken.
- The difficulty of Lost Sectors has been increased. For example, Lost EDZ sectors will then be at 240 power.

Xûr
The Agent of the Nine is also not spared from changes. He no longer shows a vendor icon on the destination maps and is no longer tied to Flashpoints. Furthermore, his Fate Engrams only grant exotics from before Forsaken.
