The online shooter Destiny 2 will receive the “Cross-Save” feature in a few days. Players will then be able to switch from PS4 to PC or Xbox One and vice versa, taking almost everything with them to their new home. Well, almost everything. Because the Silver remains on the old platform.
This is the good news: On August 21, Cross-Save will be active in Destiny 2. This is important for anyone who plays Destiny 2 on more than one platform or plans to switch permanently.

What can you not take with you? First of all, the expansions and games you purchased will be missing. Just because you own the “Forsaken” expansion on PS4 doesn’t mean you can continue playing it on PC. This has been known for a while.
New information is that you also cannot take the real-money currency “Silver” to the other platform. You must spend the Silver on the platform where you purchased it.
You will only possess the Silver associated with a character that you purchased on the current platform and have not yet spent.
This apparently stems from the fact that each platform has its own shop.
Those switching permanently should keep the Silver problem in mind
Who does this affect and how can they solve the problem? If you plan to permanently switch platforms and want to transition from PS4 to PC and burn all bridges behind you, you should consider in the coming days what you want to do with your existing Silver: Specifically, what cosmetic item you might want to acquire.
Because on the new platform, the Guardian will possess the newly purchased item, but not the Silver they had accumulated before.
If you plan to play permanently on two platforms anyway, the lack of Silver might not be an issue. The real annoyance is that you will have to buy Forsaken or the season pass again.
