Are you a member of Amazon Prime or Prime Gaming? Then you can now snag some exotic rewards for Destiny 2. MeinMMO explains how basically anyone can secure this Twitch Prime loot for free and shows which items are available in March 2021.
What is Twitch Prime loot? Bungie has been collaborating with Prime Gaming for another year since November 2020. If you have an active “Amazon Prime” and/or “Prime Gaming” membership, you can claim some additional in-game rewards for Destiny 2 on all platforms – mostly Exotics.
In total, there are 12 monthly drops, each offering four special rewards – including exotic weapons, ghost shells, ships, sparrows, weapon ornaments, emotes, or other cosmetics from previous seasons.
Destiny 2 – The Twitch Loot in March
When can I get the new Twitch items? The March drop is currently available. It is already live and can be claimed – until March 24.
The following items are included this time: The March drop includes:
- the legendary ghost projection “Imperial Projection”
- the exotic gesture “Six Chambers”
- the exotic sparrow “Warhorse”
- the exotic ship “The Oviraptor”
How to access Twitch loot
As an Amazon Prime member: If you are a member of Amazon Prime, you automatically get access to Twitch Prime. The only thing you need to do (if not already done): Log in there and link your accounts. Alternatively, you can also register directly with Prime Gaming.
If you are a Prime member and have already linked your Twitch account to your Bungie account, you can then go directly to the Prime Gaming site. Log in and look for Destiny 2 in “In-Game Loot and More” – it’s hard to miss. Then navigate to new content. There you can claim them.
If, as a Prime member, you haven’t linked your Bungie account with Amazon yet, you can do that on this page.
Without a Prime membership: Even without a previous Prime membership, you can still get this loot. Because Amazon Prime and/or Prime Gaming can be tested free and without restriction for 30 days. You can register for this on this page. The only requirement: You have not already utilized the free trial.
But note: Make sure to cancel this service before the 30 days expire if you do not wish to continue using it. Because afterwards, monthly fees of €7.99 will apply.
Where can I find the items in the game? After you have claimed the loot on the Prime Gaming site, you need to visit Amanda Holliday in the Tower Hangar in-game. She will hand you the respective items.
