In Destiny 2, as a member of Amazon Prime or Prime Gaming, you can currently claim some Exotics. MeinMMO explains how anyone can secure the Twitch Prime loot for free and what rewards are available.
What is the Twitch Prime loot about? As Bungie has now announced, the studio is teaming up with Prime Gaming for another year. Players with an active “Amazon Prime” and/or “Prime Gaming” membership can benefit from this and grab additional in-game rewards for Destiny 2 across all platforms.
In this new cooperation year, there are set to be 12 monthly gear drops. Each drop will contain four Prime Gaming rewards such as exotic weapons, Ghost shells, ships, Sparrows, or weapon ornaments from previous seasons of Destiny 2.
When exactly can you secure these items? The first new gear drop has been available since November 25. You have until December 23 to claim it.
The following items can currently be secured through Twitch Prime: The first new Twitch Prime drop includes the following items:
- the exotic emote “Unleashed” (seasonally inspired)
- the exotic Sparrow “The Royal Howl”
- the exotic ship “Transpose JT-24-X”
- as well as the legendary Ghost shell “Bow Shell”
Additionally, Bungie announced that at the start of each new season, there will be a special, seasonally inspired item available through the Twitch Prime loot in the respective month. For the current Season 12, the Season of the Hunt, it is the emote “Unleashed”.
This is how it works as an Amazon Prime member: Access to Twitch Prime is automatically available to Amazon Prime members; you just need to log in there and link your accounts. This is a service from Amazon.

If you’re already an Amazon Prime or Prime Gaming member and have linked your Twitch account to your Bungie account, simply visit the page of Prime Gaming. Log in, and you should see Destiny 2 directly under “In-Game Loot and More”. Go there for new content and claim it.

This is how it works without a Prime membership: If you don’t have an Amazon Prime membership, it should not be a problem. You can test Amazon Prime or directly Prime Gaming free and without restrictions – as long as you have not done so already. You can register for the Prime Gaming test on this page.
Important: However, note that you must cancel the service before the 30 days expire if you do not want to use it longer. After that, monthly fees of 7.99 € will apply.
Where can the items be found in Destiny 2? After you have successfully logged in and claimed your loot, you must visit Amanda Holliday in the game. You will find the mechanic in the Tower’s hangar.
