This is the deal with the loot: Destiny 2 has partnered with Twitch Prime. As Prime members, this means you receive free loot if you maintain a Prime subscription.
Overall, the promotion is set to run for another 5 months. You will receive 4 new items every month. These include weapons exotics, exotic emotes, sparrows, ships, and other cosmetic items for your guardians.
Is this available on all platforms? In short: Yes! Whether you are playing Destiny 2 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, or Google Stadia, everyone can benefit from this promotion.
This is how it works with Twitch Prime: To benefit from the items, you must have a Twitch Prime membership. As an Amazon Prime customer, this is already included in the price of Amazon Prime.
You just need to link your Twitch and Bungie accounts. This link will take you directly to the account linking on amazon.com.
After that, visit the Twitch site and select the “Crown” in the upper right corner. Here you will always find all the rewards and promotions like the Prime loot.
Where do you collect the loot in the game? Visit Amanda Holliday in the Tower Hangar. If you have linked the accounts and claimed the loot on Twitch, the mechanic has your rewards ready for you in-game.
A fan favorite awaits you in March 2020
These items are available in March 2020: This month there are no weapon exotics. But you can look forward to a variety of cosmetic exotics:
- Exotic “Feathered Fowl” emote
- Exotic “Praxian Splendor” sparrow
- Legendary “Age of Tomorrow” ghost shell
- Exotic “Sail of Osiris” ship
The emote features a true fan favorite. The chicken “Colonel” is a kind of mascot for the (sadly different) space cowboy Cayde. The chicken emote has since achieved cult status among the guardians.
