In Destiny 2 you can now outsmart an old witch who only gives one of the most coveted Triumphs from the dungeons to hardcore solo players.
This Triumph is about: In the popular dungeons of Destiny 2, you can prove your strength as a Guardian and, if you wish, fight through the activity completely alone. This is anything but easy, as even in old dungeons the difficulty scales up.
For all those who really push through there is a special Triumph and on top of that an emblem. So everyone can see what a tough cookie you are.
- In the Shattered Throne from Forsaken the corresponding Triumph is called “Lone Thing”.
- According to Warmind.io, only 0.7% of all Guardians have achieved it. Players must go from start to end of the fight solo.
- The associated emblem is called “The Eternal Return” and references the lore of the endless curse of the Dreaming City.
All for one – how to achieve the Solo Triumph as a team
That’s why it’s easier than ever: As several players report (via reddit), the coveted Triumph is no longer only available for solo completions. You can play the Shattered Throne normally with 3 Guardians and at the end after defeating the final boss Dûl Incaru, you get the Triumph (title image).
Make sure to check it off in the Triumphs tab and receive the emblem – we won’t tell anyone where you got it. If you’ve never been in the Shattered Throne, we recommend the trip anyway. So gather your strike team.

- If you want to complete the Pit of Heresy solo, you can find a guide here
Keep in mind: Players in the community report that the drop was not guaranteed for them or that not the entire strike team received the Triumph on the first attempt. However, it apparently doesn’t matter who is the team leader.
You should hurry with your runs, as Bungie is gradually addressing the bugs that have crept into the game with Beyond Light. Today, on November 19th, the next update is already coming.
Why are dungeons so popular?
Dungeons are considered by many players to be the best content that Destiny 2 has to offer. They are basically mini-raids that you tackle with a strike team of up to 3 Guardians. Here you will encounter nasty bosses, tricky jumping passages, and puzzles.
But above all, players love the thick atmosphere. So far, there are 3 such dungeons that differ completely in setting:
- The Shattered Throne feels like a nightmare fairy tale world where you climb the highest tower and try to break an ancient curse
- The Pit of Heresy is like an orc fortress from The Lord of the Rings, leading you deep beneath the surface of the moon and housing a massive knight with a burning sword
- The Prophecy plays with reality, with up and down as well as light and shadow – here the opposites rule
If you prefer to play current activities, the Season of the Hunt offers you the opportunity to become a big game hunter and lure monsters with bait.
