On March 27, the update 1.1.4 for Destiny 2 will be released. This will bring, among many other changes, exclusive Nightfall strike loot. Bungie wants to know now: Do you want a preview of the exclusive Nightfall rewards or do you want to be surprised?
The next update milestone for Destiny 2 is approaching rapidly. On March 27, the update 1.1.4 will reorder many things. The PvP will be fundamentally revised. There will also be significant changes to the sandbox – the balance of classes and weapons will be altered in many aspects.
Another long-awaited feature will also be introduced in the next update: the exclusive Nightfall rewards.
In this context, Bungie now wants to know from players:
Do you want a preview of the exclusive Nightfall rewards?
The exclusive rewards are intended to provide Guardians with an additional incentive to complete the Nightfall strike. Each strike is supposed to have its own thematically inspired loot that can only drop after successfully completing the Nightfall strike.
A similar approach was already taken by the predecessor title. There were a variety of unique, themed weapons and armor pieces in the form of strike-specific loot that could only be obtained by successfully completing strikes. This feature was highly popular in the first part of the Destiny series.
In light of the upcoming update 1.1.4, Bungie’s Community Manager dmg04 has raised the question in the official Bungie forum (link to the post) of whether Guardians would like a timely preview of the exclusive Nightfall rewards or if they would rather be surprised and discover the loot for themselves starting March 27.
The feedback from players has been divided so far. Many would like to discover the exclusive rewards for themselves, while others would prefer at least a small sample of the upcoming Nightfall loot offerings.
