This weekend, the new Witch Queen raid “The Oath of the Student” will start in Destiny 2. MeinMMO provides you with the most important information about the new raid and the rules for all Worlds First Hunters.
The latest raid from Bungie will be called “The Oath of the Student” and players already have a concrete start date for the raid. Especially for World’s First Hunters, precise times are important information.
Here are the important raid times and information:
- On Saturday, March 5, 2022, the new raid will go online.
- The raid race will begin at 7 PM.
- Players should reach 1,530 Power to have a chance in every encounter.
- The name of the raid is “The Oath of the Student” and it will continue the story campaign around “The Witch Queen”, as Bungie has communicated.

There, players will discover what lies within the pyramid and what the mockery and worm larvae have to do with it. Currently, Guardians are still leveling up to reach the minimum level of 1,530 by the start of the raid.
The World Championship of Destiny 2 PvE Elite
Once the raid starts, the best teams of the Destiny 2 community will once again set out to complete it first. The World’s First race has long been a sort of small world championship for the Destiny 2 PvE elite.
The first 24 hours, the raid will also be in a so-called competitive mode, making the challenge even tougher. The rules for this are as follows:
- In competitive mode, the power of participating players will be reduced by 20 levels below the recommended power of the raid for 24 hours.
- The artifact power is activated but only provides players with advantages up to the cap of 1,530 power for competitive mode.
Bungie has also already announced that some equipment items will be disabled in the raid for the duration of the competitive mode due to general issues.
Weapons
- IKELOS_SMG_V1.0.2 – Legendary submachine gun
- Imperial Needle – Legendary bow
- Grand Overture – Exotic machine gun
- Wardcliff Coil – Exotic rocket launcher
Armor & Mods
- Worm God’s Caress – Exotic Titan armament
- Wanderer’s Greaves – Exotic Titan leg armor
- Suppressing Glaive – Artifact armor mod
Note: This list could still extend until Saturday if more items are found that could impair fair play.
These raid rules have been set by Bungie for Day One
As a reward, the winning team will be awarded a glorious champion belt, a unique emblem, a pin, and recognition from Bungie for outstanding performance.
However, there are also rules to be observed:
- The first team to complete all encounters, loot the final chest, and return to orbit will be awarded the title of World First.
- The six fireteam members present after completing the final encounter will be declared winners and will receive raid World First title belts.
- Bungie will monitor how players progress in each encounter to ensure a fair race among all participants at all times.
These are the requirements for participation: If you want to participate in the race on March 5, you should possess the new expansion “The Witch Queen”.
Will you participate in the competition and try the raid? After all, it’s about time a German team could perhaps snag the belt. Or are you not interested in this competition at all and would rather wait until the excitement passes before playing the new raid?
