In Destiny 2, there is a new credible leak regarding the second expansion. The leak reveals the name and the release date of the next DLC.
So far, little is known about the next DLC for Bungie’s second series spin-off. Only the May 2018 timeframe is officially confirmed for the release.
However, hints have increasingly suggested that the story will revolve around a Warmind and a woman named Ana Bray and will lead the Guardians to Mars – this can be deduced from official DLC graphics (see title image). A new emblem recently found in the data of Destiny 2 has also confirmed this assumption.
However, this information has not yet been confirmed by Bungie. A new, credible leak now reveals the likely official name and release date of the upcoming expansion.
The second expansion is likely called The Fallen Warmind
This time, both GameStop and Amazon listed matching information regarding the name and release date of the next expansion for Destiny 2.
DLC II is expected to be called “The Fallen Warmind” and will be released on May 8, 2018, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. However, both entries have since been removed from the retailer websites, so their authenticity cannot be confirmed at this time.
Both the name and the potential release date of the 2nd DLC would thematically align with previous speculations and hints. After the upcoming update 1.1.4, scheduled for March 27, 2018, official information should not take long to arrive. Following this update milestone, Bungie is expected to fully dedicate itself to DLC promotion.
