What have the players discovered? Just before the start of the Trials of Osiris, players discovered an exploit that allows the Arc Hunter to gain a significant, unfair advantage in PvP.
With the new Hunter Exotic from the Season of Worthy, the Exotic chest armor Raiju’s Harness, it is possible to essentially maintain the Arc Staff Super’s Whirlwind Protection indefinitely.
How is Bungie reacting? The exploit was discovered several days ago, but on the eve of the Trials, Bungie finally reacted. As reported by the Bungie Help account on Twitter, the new armor Exotic has now been disabled.
How long, they did not reveal. It is only said “until a fix can be released at a later time.” However, Raiju’s Harness will definitely not play a role at the start of the Trials.
Is the problem solved now? The problem with the infinite Whirlwind is resolved. However, players are already trying to highlight another problem with the Arc Hunter that occurs even without the new Hunter Exotic.
If you use the lower focus tree as an Arc Hunter and get killed, you retain the amount of super energy you had at the time of death upon respawning in PvP. This apparently happens every time and completely without the “help” of the disabled Hunter Exotic.
However, it is not known whether this problem can also be solved before the start of the Trials. However, the German community manager Maurice Zerjav stated that they are working on the issue.
