Since the release of Destiny 2, Guardians have been on the hunt for new, strong weapon combinations for the Crucible. Discussions about the currently trendy weapons fill pages in relevant forums.
All MIDA or what?
A weapon combo stands out here: MIDA Multi-Tool and MIDA Mini-Tool. Those who venture into the competitive multiplayer of Destiny 2 will quickly hear the distinctive shot sound of the MIDA.
The weapon combination has the advantage that it can be obtained through an exotic quest. Every Guardian potentially has access to it.
But what makes the weapon combination so strong? Looking at the perks of the MIDA Multi-Tool, we quickly realize that the exotic scout rifle has become even more valuable compared to Destiny 1:
- While you are aiming with the weapon, your radar remains active. In Destiny 2, you lose your radar for a short time after aiming with a weapon. The MIDA compensates for this disadvantage.
- The MIDA Multi-Tool increases your movement speed.
The combination with the MIDA Mini-Tool makes the whole thing even better. The small MIDA representative is a submachine gun with fantastic handling, light and deadly. You basically hold a Doctrine of Death in your hands.
With the scout rifle, which is effective not only at long range but also very strong at medium distance, you cover all possible ranges in conjunction with the submachine gun.
The synergy effects of both equipped weapons create a speed bonus. You will zoom across the map and compensate for the somewhat sluggish movement in Destiny 2.
All these points explain why the MIDA combo is currently so strong and popular. This is also because many legendary weapons have not been extensively tested yet. The first Trials of the Nine will give a glimpse of what will dominate the Crucible in the future.
