A while ago, Bungie promised to increase the vault capacity in Destiny 2. With the release of the Warmind expansion, the studio keeps its word. And there is even more space than expected.
What is it about? Already in late January 2017, Bungie presented fans with a promise to increase vault space. With the release of the Warmind expansion on May 8, 2018, it is finally happening – the vault capacity will be increased for the joy of many Guardians. And there is a small surprise for fans on top of that.

How does your vault change? The capacity will be increased with the Warmind DLC for all players from 200 to 300 slots. This change is not tied to the purchase of DLC II. The vault will also become larger for players who forgo the second DLC.
What is special about it? Bungie had originally emphasized time and again that the vault capacity could only be increased by 50 slots. However, this was intended to be only a temporary solution. In the long term, Bungie wants to develop a better alternative.
Now, the makers of Destiny 2 have made the vault larger without prior notice than originally announced – much to the delight of many collectors in Destiny 2.
What do you think about this little surprise? Are you grateful for every additional slot in the vault? Or is this change indifferent to you?
