Destiny 2 has announced short maintenance works for Tuesday, March 8th again. This also involves downtime on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, and Google Stadia. We will tell you when you cannot play today.
This is what you need to know today: Bungie announced via Twitter that server maintenance is coming up again. This is a small maintenance that will not take much time.

Maintenance on 08.03. – All times and server downtime
These times are important today:
- At 5:30 PM German time, maintenance work will start on all platforms
- From 5:45 PM, the servers will go offline. You will be kicked from all activities – the downtime begins
- At around 6:00 PM, the servers are supposed to be back online, with the daily reset.
- By 6:30 PM, the maintenance work should be fully completed.
It is important: Even if you have downloaded the update, you may experience connection issues until the end of maintenance around 6:30 PM. You may have to expect queues during login.
Also, keep in mind that third-party applications and the official companion app may not be properly accessible.
What changes with the update in Season 16
This is what the hotfix brings today: Bungie is currently fine-tuning Witch Queen. The new raid “Oryx’s Vow” has had issues with bugs and errors. Some adjustments may be made to ensure a smoother raid experience.
This is currently on Bungie’s hotfix list:
- The purchase limit for ascending alloys for Master Rahool was not updated during the weekly reset.
- The reshaping of the Enigma questline can stall for some players at the last step.
- The “No Time for Explanations” time portal will continue to shoot at defeated enemies.
If you encounter any issues in-game, it is recommended to report them directly via the official Bungie Help Forum to bring attention to them.
