What Changes with the Update in Season 16
This is what the hotfix brings today: Bungie is currently fine-tuning Witch Queen and has also announced that at the start of the new raid some items will have to be temporarily disabled.
This is currently on Bungie’s hotfix list:
- The purchase limit for ascending alloys for Master Rahool was not updated at the weekly reset.
- The reshaping of the Enigma questline can get stuck for some players in the last step.
- Glaive mods do not drop from legendary engrams.
- The “No Time for Explanations” time portal will continue to shoot at defeated enemies.
- The form costs of the Osteo-Striga catalyst will be needed for later reshapes of the weapon.
- The focusing costs for Gambit engrams are higher than intended.
This is what Bungie has already communicated about changes:
- The artifact mod “Suppressing Glaive” has been disabled in all activities until further notice.
If you encounter problems in the game, it is recommended to report them directly via the official Bungie Help Forum to make them aware.
Patch Notes for the Update in Destiny 2
What is in the patch notes? For today’s update, the patch notes are yet to be published. Traditionally, the information is released together with or shortly after the update itself. As soon as we have these, we will add them here as a link.
- No patch notes are available for this update yet.
Bungie is currently actively collecting feedback on the latest expansion. Via Twitter, they frequently inquired about the “well-being” of the Guardians. They hope that players will express their wishes so the team can respond.
Players have taken this opportunity and not only addressed the issues encountered but also suggested further fine-tuning they wish for in the future:
- Paul Tassi pointed out to Bungie that the many red frames around the new resonance weapons are driving him crazy. He wishes for a golden outline for fully formed weapons so he can distinguish them better.
- Players miss one of the best weapon types in the new weapon crafting and have asked: “Why can’t we craft a single hand cannon?”
We hope this will be the last maintenance before the new raids, which start tomorrow at 7 PM. Do you find it unfortunate that Bungie has disabled certain items for the Day One raid? Do you think the new glaive mod is indeed too strong? Let us know your opinion in the comments.
