Bungie is forging new paths: The 5th Season – the season of the Forge – has started today, November 27, for Destiny 2. With the beginning of this season, Bungie is taking new approaches when it comes to providing Guardians with fresh content – regardless of what content one owns for Destiny 2.
What does the video show? The content for year 2 has only been roughly outlined so far based on a roadmap. Three premium DLCs for owners of the Annual Pass, as well as three seasons that will bring new content for all players, are known.
In a new ViDoc, the developers of Bungie have discussed in detail what Guardians can expect in the coming months around Destiny 2.
They also went into more detail about the role the Annual Pass will play and what content awaits Guardians who forego the Season Pass or even Forsaken.
For example, in Season 5, all Forsaken owners will have a new power level cap, which will be raised by 50 each season. The new max power level in Season 5 is now 650. In addition, there are new mods that can also be utilized in the Forsaken arsenal.
The return of heavy machine guns will affect all players. However, the three premium DLCs and the associated content will only be available in a bundle and only for Annual Pass owners. These contents will not be available for individual purchase.
