Destiny 2: Lightfall – Time, Server Downtime, Preload
When does Lightfall launch? The new DLC launches today, on February 28, at 6:00 PM.
When will the servers go offline? Destiny 2 will carry out a major and, above all, prolonged server maintenance for Lightfall, lasting a total of 24 hours:
- Maintenance begins February 27, 2023, at 5:45 PM
- It is expected to end on February 28, 2023, at 6:00 PM sharp with the launch of Lightfall
During maintenance, you will not be able to log in and will be locked out of the loot shooter for an entire day.
Will there be a preload? Yes, there is already one, but it has caused issues on PlayStation. Players were subsequently asked to uninstall Destiny 2 and download it again.
Destiny 2: Lightfall – Changes, Content, Season 20
