On Twitter, a lot of information about Destiny 2: Witch Queen has been published. These are leaks related to NPCs, landing zones, and an unknown 6-player activity. We’ll show you what has been leaked.
What has been published? The streamer MxNyxara published many leaks regarding Witch Queen on Twitter. He goes into interesting details such as landing zones and involved NPCs that are supposed to play an unknown role in the new expansion.
New info on possible “Witch Queen” contents
Bungie has not confirmed any of the information, so enjoy the information with caution and be prepared that none of the listed content may ever make it into the finished DLC.
Two new 6-player activities
Bungie has already officially announced a 6-player activity that will take place in the Queen’s courtyard. It is called “Eternal Conflict.” However, the leak teases another completely new, previously unknown activity named “Scornucopia.” This is supposed to be the seasonal 6-player activity.
What is it about? The focus is on the Scorn. Guardians must destroy these twisted Fallen. How the second 6-player activity works and whether you will need to solve puzzles there is unknown.
14 loading zones in the Throne World
What does that mean? In Destiny 2, areas are divided into different loading zones. When you enter such a zone, it is generated separately by the game. You can notice this transition by the text overlay in the lower left, which shows you the name of the new area.
If there are 14 loading zones (engl. Loading Zones), that’s quite a lot. This gives hope that there will be many different and complex areas that need to be loaded for the Throne World. Thus, Guardians would have plenty to explore.
Involved NPCs in Witch Queen
In Season 15, it was revealed that Osiris, who has accompanied us since Crow’s appearance, was actually just a shell for Savathûn. Now, the Guardians are trying to reach the real Osiris through a pact with the Witch Queen.
It is definitely interesting to know which of the characters from Season 15 will still be alive and which tragedy might lead to the new events.
Who will be involved in Witch Queen? The leaker published a list of names that are supposed to play a role in the major expansion. Among them are the following:
- Savathûn and her Ghost
- Ghost (possibly your Guardian’s)
- Ikora Rey
- Scorn Ghost Trader (possibly a new NPC for trading)
- The Witness (possibly a boss enemy in the raid)
- Eris Morn (she has already been confirmed by Bungie)
- Mara Sov, the Queen of the Awoken
Many players are theorizing that Mara Sov could be the one who might fall after Season 15. However, the leak indicates that Mara will still be alive, and possibly a different NPC could be the one to fall. Is Osiris already dead?
