On May 11, the new raid lair in Destiny 2 kicks off. Many fans have speculated about the Hive as an enemy. However, analyses by a diligent data miner suggest that in the new raid passage of the Warmind expansion, we will again face the Cabal.
Already the raid scenes from the launch trailer for the Warmind DLC showed a battle against Cabal on the back of the Leviathan.
Some detail-oriented fans now expect a story twist there. Because the shown Cabal enemies resemble the Red Legion visually, according to their perspective, and not the usual Calus troops.
The Red Legion and the Calus troops are known not to be on friendly terms. Incoming Cabal ships in the background further strengthen their suspicion that there could be conflict among the space turtles.
Other fans speculated, however, that it could rather be an initial passage and pointed to the Hive as the main enemy. After all, the Vex from the first expansion were also the main enemies in the first raid lair.

A find by a data miner, however, leaves little room for speculation.
Data miner finds clear evidence of Cabal
It indeed looks like we will once again face the Cabal. The Reddit user TheEcumene posted some audio data from the 2nd DLC that he was able to extract from the game. Apparently, some voice lines from the new raid passage are also included.
WARNING -SPOILERS

From the audio data, it can be inferred that we will once again have to deal with Emperor Calus. However, this time it looks more like we will have to protect him from an attack by Ghaul’s Red Legion. An unknown Cabal figure named Cau’ul is apparently leading an attack against the Leviathan, intending to dethrone Calus.
Although it is not clear whether Cau’ul is also the new final boss of the new raid passage. However, the suspicion is at least very close.
However, soon players will be able to find out for themselves. Because already on May 11 at 7:00 PM the new raid passage from DLC II kicks off.
What do you think? Would you have preferred the Hive as raid enemies? Or are you also happy with Cabal in the new raid lair?
