As a supplement to the lore surrounding Destiny 2, Bungie has already released two parts of the popular web comic “Fall of Osiris”. Now the comic adventures with Ana Bray are moving to the next round.
What has happened? Ahead of the upcoming Warmind expansion, the 3rd part of Bungie’s web comic series has been released. The latest issue is titled “Warmind”.
What can fans expect? The third part of the comic series focuses on the adventures of Ana Bray, a central character in the upcoming expansion for Destiny 2.

Like the previous issues, the 11-page long Warmind web comic is free and accessible to everyone. All interested parties can now read it in Bungie’s web comic reader. Currently, the 3rd part is available exclusively in English.
Warmind – What is the web comic about?
The comic shows how Ana Bray became estranged from the Vanguard. We learn more about Bray’s intentions and actions on Mars, where she is searching for her past.
Chronologically, the comic is set during the Cabal invasion of Earth, during which the Guardians lost their light. Thus, “Warmind” bridges the events at the beginning of Destiny 2 and the story of the upcoming Warmind expansion.
However, those waiting for extensive lore or answers about Ana Bray’s past will not find it here. Even though many Guardians are waiting: There is nothing about the battle at Duskfall.

Fans decode the language of the Cabal
Noteworthy: Some passages of the comic are written in the language of the Cabal. What initially looks like jumbled symbols, obviously has a system.

These sections have already been decoded by some clever Guardians and even translated into English. As we want to avoid spoilers, interested fans can check out the translations for themselves in this Reddit thread.
More lore about the Warmind DLC
Those who wish for more background knowledge about the lore surrounding Destiny 2 and the upcoming Warmind expansion should take a look at the official Bungie site .
There, the studio is gradually making various online lore available, which resemble the Grimoire cards from Destiny 1 in their presentation, but are somewhat more detailed.
These lore pieces offer additional details about the events surrounding the Warmind DLC. Currently, there are already 5 of them. And it is worth keeping an eye on the page. Because according to Bungie, more is to come.
What do you think of the Warmind web comic? A good addition to the lore? Or a waste of resources?
