What is a raid challenge? All raids in Destiny 2 are a challenging group activity and are therefore part of the endgame. Players face tricky puzzles together in raids, overcome jumping passages, and ultimately defeat the toughest bosses, who drop prestigious weapons and armor.
For those who want more, you can take on a challenge or challenge in a raid. While they still involve the classic raid mechanics, they also restrict certain playstyles, requiring teams to adjust their tactics to master them.
All challenges typically take place in a specific raid encounter or phase. In the raid “King’s Fall”, there are a total of five such encounters – the jumping passages and the relic phase are excluded.
How to succeed in the challenge “The Grass is Always Greener”
This is the first encounter: The raid challenge “The Grass is Always Greener” takes place in the first phase of the King’s Fall raid.
Previously, players had to collect special bounties from Hawthorne for this, but that has changed. The challenge is automatically active when the raid begins. You will see the corresponding information in the bottom left when you start the raid.
To specifically complete the challenge “The Grass is Always Greener”, after you have taken a side of the buff and submitted your points, you need to switch sides. That means, if you first took care of the witch, the knight, and submitted your points on the left side of the totem, you move to the right side and do the same process there.
Once you finish on the right side, you return to the left side. Basically, this is a relatively straightforward back-and-forth. However, note that each player must continuously switch sides during their runs. If you do not, the challenge is considered incomplete.
If you want to try again, you can simply have everyone die to restart the encounter.

Tips for the challenge
The challenge basically requires good communication and the equipment of a Champion Mod because of the ogres. It is certainly helpful to keep an eye on your “partners”. These should also remain the same in a clean run. It’s also a good idea to ensure that your run goes without deaths, or chaos may ensue.
What do you get as a reward? If you successfully complete the challenge, you will receive bonus loot in addition to the completion of the title badge “King Slayer”. In addition to the standard chest at the end of the encounter, another chest will appear after a short time. This will also contain top-tier equipment. So it’s worth undertaking the effort for the challenge “The Grass is Always Greener”.
Since each encounter offers you special loot, this means that for this challenge you can either obtain the chest armor, leg armor, or class item, as well as the scout rifle “Corruption of Chelchis” and the machine gun “Terminus of Qullim”.
