In Destiny 2, one of the best weapons in the game is available for purchase since the recent vendor reset.
Since mid-December, it is possible in Destiny 2 to directly purchase items from the vendors in the Tower and in the various worlds. Previously, you could only redeem the faction tokens for engrams and hope for random drops.
Now, the vendors each have five pieces of armor and one weapon available for purchase directly with Legendary Shards and specific tokens. However, keep in mind that you may need to unlock these by opening enough engrams with the respective vendor. Only then can you buy the items.
While the armor pieces remain the same, the weapon changes weekly. There is therefore a “weekly vendor weapon reset”. And this week, it is especially worth visiting one vendor.
Head to Zavala if you are missing the weapon
Commander Zavala is now offering the legendary scout rifle Midnight without Name. This kinetic weapon is considered one of the best weapons overall – both in PvE and PvP. Many prefer this gun over the MIDA Multi-Tool.
The reason: Midnight without Name comes with excellent perks:
- Precision Frame: The recoil behavior is vertical
- Explosive Payload: Projectiles create an explosion upon impact
Additionally, you have the choice between:
- Extended Magazine: Slightly increases stability, significantly increases reload speed
- Stable Rounds: Significantly increases stability, slightly decreases range
This makes Midnight without Name a stable scout rifle that is excellent to control. Additionally, it deals considerable damage with the Explosive Payload, making it an overall strong weapon.
If you do not already own the scout rifle, definitely take the opportunity. It plays excellently.
