Bungie and Destiny 2 are launching the charity event Game2Give. In this event, Guardians are called to donate and stream for a good cause. Great rewards are also on offer.
This is the event “Game2Give”: From October 24th to November 10th, the “Game2Give” takes place. This will be the first time it’s held in 2019, following Bungie’s previous charitable efforts, such as:
- iPads for Kids
- or the Children’s Miracle Network
“Game2Give” is aimed at both players and streamers. Bungie encourages everyone to donate or raise as much money as possible through streams to fund the treatment and therapy of sick children.
Donors and participants can actually receive some high-profile rewards as a thank you for their donations.
Physical Prizes and Trips to Win
What are the prizes for Guardians? A large part of the thank-you prizes consists of special content for Destiny 2. For example, those who donate $10 will receive a “Mist Blossom” emblem. For $50, there’s also the exclusive, exotic Ghost shell “Gilded Shell”.
Anyone who donates $100 will have the chance to win great physical prizes, including:
- Action figures of Guardians (approx. 32 cm tall), presumably similar to the collectible figures of Destiny
- A Destiny chess set as a collectible item
- Volume 2 of the Destiny Grimoires
- The music of Destiny on vinyl
- The Collector’s Editions of Shadowkeep
- and more.

There are even more prizes if you decide to stream Destiny 2 and collect donations. Starting at $1,000, you can win a physical version of the “Gilded Shell” Ghost and with even more money raised, the chance for further prizes (to be raffled among participants):
- Palladium boots (starting at $2,500)
- Tour of the Bungie Studios including flight, hotel, and meeting with the team (starting at $5,000)
Other prizes and rewards for streamers can be found on the official site and the list of prizes for players can be found in the official terms and conditions.
How do I participate? If you want to join the event, simply sign up on the official page of “Game2Give”. Here, you have the option to participate as a streamer or simply donate for the cause.
On the page, you will also find a streaming toolkit to help you get an overlay for the stream or video assets. If you are generally interested in streaming, you can find more about it in our beginner’s guide to streaming on Twitch.
What do you think of the rewards? Would you participate for this or just want to help? Will you donate or even stream yourself?
