If you were expecting a long “Destiny 2” session today on the holiday, Bungie has other plans. The servers will be down for maintenance on Ps4, Xbox One, and PC. We will tell you when Destiny 2 will be back online.
This is happening today: Today, on October 3rd, short-notice maintenance work will take place on the servers of Destiny 2. During the maintenance, the servers will be completely offline.
You will not need to download an update afterwards.
When will Destiny 2 be back?
These are the important times today:
- At 5:00 PM German time (8 AM PDT), the servers will be shut down.
- At 5:30 PM, the servers should be back online.
- Afterward, you may need to queue for a while.
Please note that the mentioned times are not set in stone. Bungie does not always stick to the time specified.
Why are the servers going down? Bungie has not provided any specific reason for the downtime other than maintenance.
