Microsoft has announced a collaboration with developer Bungie during the Xbox Games Showcase. The plan is to bring the popular multiplayer shooter Destiny 2 to Xbox Series X and into the Game Pass – with really impressive graphics, at 60 FPS and in 4K.
Here’s what you can look forward to: Microsoft announced today that Destiny 2 will receive a new, revamped version for the Xbox Series X. This version is said to run at a proud 60 FPS at full 4K resolution. The version is optimized specifically for Xbox Series X.
This is something that players and fans of the series have been wanting on consoles for a long time. Until now, 30 FPS has been the standard. They were promised this before, and with Microsoft’s announcement, there is now a concrete date for it.

When is the new, improved Destiny 2 coming? The version has been announced for “later this year,” along with the new expansion Beyond Light.
Beyond Light is set to release on November 10 after a delay. This could also hint that the Xbox Series X might already have been released by that time.
Those using the Game Pass will also be able to play “Beyond Light” as part of their subscription.
Destiny 2 in the Game Pass – With all previous expansions available
What else does Destiny 2 bring? In addition to the new version of Destiny 2, the game along with all its previous expansions will also be available in the Microsoft Game Pass. Those subscribed to the pass can play Destiny 2 anytime.
