Whether data fragments, sleeper nodes, or region chests – Mars harbors numerous hidden items for players to find in Destiny 2. Thanks to a new interactive map, it’s now easier than ever.
Anyone who has dealt with the collecting tasks of the Warmind DLC or even completed them knows how tedious it can be to keep track of the items already found and the ones still missing.
The Australian Destiny fan Richard Deveraux recently made virtual guardian life easier for many Destiny players. He designed an interactive map of all the planets in Destiny 2, including Mars. There, many details can now be viewed – including the locations of data fragments or sleeper nodes.
Especially in the context of the collecting orgies for the sleeper simulant or the world line zero, the map is a great visual aid for many players.
Collecting tasks made easy
His website with the interactive map can be used through regular browsers, as well as tablets and smartphones.
The map provides a detailed overview of all planets and social spaces, including lost sectors, scannable items, locations of Cayde’s chests, region chests, vendors, and more.
The map can be adjusted as desired with numerous filters. For instance, individual character progress in collecting quests on Mars can be tracked. Already collected items can be checked off like in a checklist.
On other planets, scannable objects and chests can be found accordingly. The map covers pretty much everything that can be found or scanned in Destiny 2.
The site also offers other known features like an equipment viewer or a flashpoint overview. However, the map is unique in its kind so far.
