Who are the Hive? The Hive are an insectoid race that exterminates all life just to strengthen their power in the universe. They annihilate all beings that stand in their way and feed their worms that they carry as parasites within themselves.
These worms grant them power and a longer lifespan than before the symbiosis. The Guardians from Earth have often dealt with them, and these encounters have not been really positive. Nevertheless, the Vanguard celebrates clear victories over the “Eaters of Light,” such as the victory against Oryx or Crota, who were revered as gods by their brood.
