This is what the new exotic weapon can do: A new exotic adventure awaits you in the world of Destiny 2. This time, it’s all about the special exotic bow “Wishbringer” with the element Strand. The hunt for this new weapon takes place in the exotic mission Cursed and is well worth the effort if you’re a fan of Strand.

Similar to the exotic stasis bow Glasswork Curve from the Season of Resistance, the Wishbringer is also strongly connected to its elemental subclass Strand.
The bow generates energy through precision hits and finishing moves before releasing a tethering arrow that binds enemies, effectively allowing you to hang them up.

How to get Wishbringer and its catalysts

Where does the mission start? To unlock the new exotic mission from Season 23, you only need to play the story in week 4 of the Season of Wishes. It will lead you to Crow on the H.E.L.M., where you will gain access to the mission.

How challenging is the mission? The exotic mission Cursed has a difficulty level of 1,810, so it is quite challenging and requires tactical skill, as the enemy density is high.

All fighters in the normal version have at least 5 power points more than you.
On Legendary, it gets even more challenging with a power level requirement of 1,830, and you will also face Unstoppable Champions.

How visually impressive is the mission? The area is noteworthy, as the Black Garden from Bungie has been expanded with several new areas for the mission. The path to the “Wishbringer” bow takes you through various areas and instantiated sections filled with tricky puzzles and powerful enemies. Even the tricky jumping passages between encounters have naturally not been forgotten and pose additional challenges on your way through the Black Garden.

Additionally, you need to keep equipping the right buffs to deal damage.

How to get the 4 catalysts for Wishbringer?

This is how you get the additional perks: To fully harness the potential of the “Wishbringer” bow, you need to unlock its catalysts. These catalysts provide the bow with additional bonuses and make it even deadlier in combat.

Similar to the mission “Seraph’s Shield” for the pulse rifle Revision Zero in the Season of the Seraphs, you will receive the intrinsic upgrades for the exotic bow Wishbringer by completing the mission on the difficulty level Legendary in the coming weeks.
Additionally, there are the Constellation Quests that need to be completed.
The four catalysts are found in hidden, time-limited chests. You will get to see a lot of the Black Garden as you explore the entire mission area for these chests.

Thus, the fastest way to obtain all catalysts is to complete Cursed once a week over the next four weeks, until January 16, and finish the Constellation Quests.

From whom do you get the quests? The quests are obtained from Mara Sov. However, the prerequisite is that you already have received the first version of the bow.
