This week you have the opportunity to take on the clan challenge “Summoning Ritual” in Destiny 2. What you need to do to successfully master this challenge is explained to you in this guide.
With the launch of Forsaken, clan members received an additional way to earn Powerful loot. Every week in the Tower, you can pick up a special bounty from Suraya Hawthorne that can only be completed by clans. As part of these clan bounties, you need to master certain challenges in the Forsaken raid Last Wish.
How to complete the clan challenge “Summoning Ritual”
This week’s clan bounty from Hawthorne includes: This week, the clan challenge “Summoning Ritual” is up. To successfully master this challenge, you need to fulfill the weekly bounty of the same name from Hawthorne.
If you want to earn the title “Riven’s Bane”, then you cannot miss this challenge. Mastering this challenge is one of the many requirements for this title.
The requirements for clan bounties:
- You must be a member of a clan
- The clan must be at least level 4
Here’s how the “Summoning Ritual” challenge works: First, obtain the corresponding bounty. You can get this from Hawthorne in the Tower. Once you and your raid team have this special bounty in your inventory, it’s time to go into the Last Wish raid.
As soon as you arrive at the first boss Kalli, the additional challenge is to play this encounter “incorrectly.” During the fight against Kalli, the Guardians have to activate platforms. However, if the wrong platforms are activated, ogres will spawn in the middle of the room, making life harder for the players.
And this week’s clan challenge revolves exactly around those ogres. If you activate three of the total nine plates incorrectly, three ogres will appear in the middle of the room. You must then destroy these three creatures in addition. In plain English, this means: You must activate all nine plates – including the wrong ones, kill the three ogres in the middle, and then defeat the witch Kalli.
Here are some points to keep in mind:
- It can happen that the ogres do not spawn correctly if the three wrong plates are activated simultaneously or in too short intervals. Therefore, it is advisable to assign each of the three players a fixed wrong plate. These guardians should then activate these areas in a delayed manner (about 5 seconds apart)
- You must activate the three wrong plates and kill the ogres before Kalli readies her weapons
- The other three players activate the remaining six platforms so that you still have the doors to safety during the damage phase. Position these guardians optimally so that they can effectively activate two areas
- If you then defeat Kalli in one phase, the clan challenge is fulfilled. If you need another phase, you have to repeat these steps again
