In Destiny 2, a short downtime will be carried out. The servers will go offline today, August 2nd, for update 4.1.5.2 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, and Google Stadia. MeinMMO will accompany the server downtime and let you know when you can’t play.
This is what you need to know today: Players of Destiny 2 will not be able to log in today due to a shorter downtime. We will accompany you through the server downtime, inform you about its progress, and, most importantly, what changes you can expect after the hotfix.

Maintenance on 02.08. – All times and server downtime
This time, players are expecting a shorter downtime. Some fixes will be implemented to keep the game running smoothly.
These times are important today:
- At 6:00 PM German time, maintenance work will begin in the background on all platforms.
- From 6:45 PM, the servers will go offline, and you will be automatically kicked from all activities.
- Around 7:00 PM, the servers are expected to come back online, and update 4.1.5.2 will be rolled out for all platforms. However, you can log in to play again from that time.
- Officially, the maintenance work for hotfix 4.1.5.2 will only end at 8:00 PM.
It is important: Even if you have downloaded the update and are back in the game, there may be connection issues until the maintenance work ends around 8:00 PM. You may also have to deal with waiting times during login. Also, bear in mind that third-party applications and the official companion app may not be working correctly.
What changes with update 4.1.5.2 in season 17
This is what the hotfix brings today: After hotfix 4.1.5.2, Guardians can expect a new week. However, Bungie will likely fix some bugs and issues beforehand.
However, Bungie has not yet released information about the latest bug fixes. There are a few known issues that are currently affecting the game:
- The text chat is currently disabled due to a bug
- The “Hyperborean Vex” Sparrow does not appear in the collections.
- The Exotic Ornament “Photodriven Actuators” for Synthoceps appears for all players when they inspect the armor cosmetic for the armor piece.
- Tracked seasonal challenges may not disappear from the nav mode once completed.
- The Nightmare containment does not grant progress for the Solstice anniversary event challenge.
- The Arc, Solar, and Void Solstice glows appear less bright than before hotfix 4.1.5.1.
