Anyone needing Queen’s Leaf Tincture in Destiny 2 should visit secret traders in the Dreaming City.

Every Guardian who has reached the endgame zone Dreaming City quickly realizes that there are some secrets that are not shown on the map.
This includes two strange, well-hidden skulls that you can interact with. In the Guardianship, they are already called “Ahamkara Traders”, as these are skulls of these creatures.
Location of the Ahamkara Traders
Here’s how to find the Ahamkara Traders: Start in the landing zone of the Dreaming City and follow the path toward the Oracle. Before a bridge, turn right and jump onto a ledge. Continue along the path until a portal appears before you. Go through it and follow the path until you reach the area “The Conflux” and then arrive at “The Herald’s Retreat.” There is another portal that takes you to the traders.

This is just one way that leads to the skulls. You can also access the Herald’s Retreat via the Rheasilvia area, but this way is longer.
First, clear the room where the skulls are located. A few enemies with a power level of 550 are waiting there. Eliminate them, then you can interact with the skulls at your leisure.
What do the two skulls offer?
- On the left side is the Ahamkara skull of Muninn. For 25 Baryon Fragments, you will receive a Light Charge level 2, which you need for the Blind Well – and the 2nd Seed of Light.
- On the right side is the Ahamkara skull of Huginn. For 50 Baryon Fragments, you will receive the Queen’s Leaf Tincture.
You cannot buy an unlimited number of items from them. At some point, they will ignore you. Then you have to wait a while or search for new Baryon Fragments until they are willing to trade again.
The names “Muninn” and “Huginn” are references to Norse mythology. In it, Hugin and Munin are the two ravens of Odin. They whisper into the All-Father’s ear everything they see and hear.
Baryon Fragments can be found all over the Dreaming City. You can collect them directly as violet-glowing little trees or receive them as a reward for bounties, for patrols or from chests.
What does Queen’s Leaf Tincture do?
Queen’s Leaf Tincture makes you Ascendant: This tincture causes you to see and find more secrets in the Dreaming City for 30 minutes. With it, you can
- open Ascendant chests
- start Ascendant challenges
- complete activities such as the strike “The Corrupted” while you are ascendant (this must be done for the cleansing ritual)
- discover more secrets.
When you go exploring in the Dreaming City, you should always have a tincture with you. Otherwise, you will miss some things.
How do I obtain the tincture otherwise? The tincture is a random drop in the Dreaming City. Good sources are the chests you can open in the city, whether they are region chests or chests at the end of public events. There is also a chance for the tincture after patrols.
However, all of these sources are based on chance. If you need a Queen’s Leaf Tincture quickly and reliably because your friends want to play the Ascendant Challenge with you, you can definitely buy a tincture from the Ahamkara trader.
