In Destiny 2, the signs point to the soon return of the much-missed Trials of Osiris. This time even within the game itself.
What is happening in Destiny 2 right now? Currently, one topic is especially occupying the community: Are the Trials returning in Season 10? Recently, clever Guardians found quite clear evidence in the databases and hidden game codes.
As previously suspected, the event “Empyrean Foundation”, starting next week, serves as a kind of cornerstone for a new lighthouse and is intended to transition into the popular PvP mode.
This is what the new clue looks like: Data miners and speculations are one thing. The latest clue regarding the return of the Trials was now discovered in the game itself.
As some Guardians report, they were surprised by a mysterious quest in orbit. Without any special actions, the task activated itself. The mission is titled “Worthy” and leads up to three players to Mercury.
This mission specifically appeared during data mining in direct connection to the reconstruction of the tower and the Trials.
The quest description mentions that through tremendous support, the lighthouse (eng. Lighthouse) will be reignited. This new beacon is intended to guide the guardians into a new age.
The lighthouse is located on the planet Mercury and was the ultimate PvP destination in Destiny 1 – a sort of exclusive social space for all who mastered the Trials. The mission title “Worthy” is also suggestive. Currently, it is assumed that the upcoming Season 10 will carry the same name.
This triumph must be completed: However, the players could not accept or even complete the Worthy quest. An unfinished triumph blocked access.
Donate Polarized Fractaline to the Tower Obelisk to contribute to the Empyrean Reconstruction.
Translated text of the triumph “Empyrean Restorer”
The triumph will only be fulfilled after extensive donations and multi-stage construction measures. These goals will most likely be achieved at the very end of the current Season of Dawn and thematically kick off Season 10.
Do you still doubt a return of the Trials? Do you break into cheers at the thought that the PvP royal class could soon go live, or are the Trials more indifferent to you? Let us know in this survey:
