However, the quest was unlocked only some time after the launch of the expansion “The Taken King.” It was “time-locked.” In Destiny 2, dataminers found hints about the “Black Spindle” in May. Since then, players have been searching for a hidden quest but couldn’t find it for months.
What has happened now: Last night, a player reported on Reddit. He said something strange happened during a public event on IO. This might be a silly question and has been asked many times before, but a “Taken Portal” appeared that could be entered. He entered it, took out a few enemies, and then found a key that triggers a quest with a 20-minute timer. What was behind that?

In the end, this was the reward: However, in the end, the player “Gelatosquid” was the first to complete the challenge and grab the weapon “Whisper of the Worm”. This is an exotic sniper rifle and is essentially the “Black Spindle 2.0.”
