There is now at least indirect new information about the gameplay reveal of Destiny 2 . It is coming to the cinema. The running time is now known.
Activision has teamed up with the British cinema chain Odeon to bring the gameplay reveal of Destiny 2 to the cinema on May 18. Those who watch the live stream in one of the 5 British cinemas that belong to the chain will also receive “sweet loot” sponsored by Activision: a goodie pack.
Destiny 2: Gameplay Reveal running time is listed as 60 minutes
For most of us, not particularly exciting – unless you have access to an English cinema or German cinemas also decide to offer this service.
But: we are getting a new piece of information from the event. The running time of the event is set at 60 minutes. Bungie seems to be keeping its promise that a lot will be shown during the gameplay reveal.

It will not just be a short trailer, but a full, complete reveal stream is expected.
Guardians are looking forward to May 18
For months, the Guardians have been looking forward to May 18 around 7 PM our time. Gameplay material from Destiny 2 is supposed to be shown for the first time. Currently, we only know two short story trailers that provide background about Destiny 2.

The game itself will be released on September 8 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Beta events for the game are planned for the summer – it seems likely that it will start with an exclusive beta for PlayStation. It also seems that Sony has secured special rights with Destiny – exclusive game content for PlayStation 4 is also planned.
