New to Gambit? Everything you need to know for a smooth start
What is Gambit? Gambit is a new game mode in Destiny 2 that came with the Forsaken expansion. The mode embodies a mix of cooperative PvE battles and PvP elements.
This is how Gambit plays: In this mode, two teams of four compete to see who will summon and defeat the Primeval, that is, the final boss, first. A match consists of three rounds. There is no time limit.
Once the match begins, the teams are teleported to their own, separated area where they must eliminate enemies and collect motes to summon the Primeval.
The map is divided into two halves. Each team plays on an individual gameplay area and initially has nothing to do with the opposing team. However, several times per round, there is an opportunity for a player to invade the enemy’s arena and cause chaos and confusion there. But watch out! The same applies in reverse.
