In Destiny 2 the Halloween event Festival of the Lost is happening for the first time. With its own trailer, Bungie builds up the excitement just before the launch.
The Festival of the Lost is held in honor of fallen Guardians. The survivors in the Tower and the Last City commemorate their loved ones. What Guardians can look forward to during this celebration over the next few weeks has now been presented by Bungie in a trailer.
What does the trailer show? In addition to the festively decorated Tower and the characteristic event masks, there’s a look at the new activity Haunted Forest as well as some event-specific items like emotes, sparrows, armor pieces, or the new auto rifle.
In addition, Bungie reiterates the key features of the event:
- New Festival Triumphs
- New activity Haunted Forest
- Exclusive spooky story auto rifle
- Double glimmer engram drops
- A new questline and bounties
- A puzzle at the end of the festival

By the way: Simultaneously with the start of the festival, the improved Iron Banner will also begin. Furthermore, the Forsaken expansion includes both Year 1 DLCs for Destiny 2, which are needed to play Forsaken.
