During Sony and PlayStation’s E3 press conference, a new trailer for the upcoming expansion “Forsaken” for Destiny 2 was shown. This gives a small glimpse into the story and brings an old acquaintance back.
We see Cayde-6, the leader of the Hunters in the Vanguard, who seemingly has seen better days. Wounded, he kneels on the ground, his ghost hovering beside him, while a cloaked person holds his own weapon to his face. The cloaked figure is not unknown and seems to harbor little love for Cayde and his ghost.
