The Forsaken expansion brings new time-exclusive content for PS4 players in Destiny 2 with the launch of the autumn addon on September 4 for Xbox One and PC.

Anyone who thought that the problems of Destiny 2 could cause Bungie and Activision to reconsider their Timed-Exclusive Content policy for PS4 or at least loosen it somewhat was mistaken. With the Forsaken addon, Destiny 2 will also receive a whole range of PS4-exclusive content that will initially be withheld from players on other platforms. Activision recently announced this on its blog.
Destiny 2: Forsaken – PS4 Exclusive Content Continues
Guardians on PS4 will have access to the following time-exclusive content in Destiny 2 with the launch of the Forsaken expansion on September 4:
- A brand new Strike
- A complete armor set for each Guardian class
- A ship
- An exotic weapon
How long this fourth Strike (the addon offers three new Strikes for all platforms) and the other content will remain exclusively for PS4 is not yet known. Specific details or images of the upcoming PS4 Exclusives are also not yet available.

Destiny 2: These “old” contents will be made available to players on PC and Xbox One on September 4 as “new”
All previous time-exclusive PS4 content of Destiny 2 will be released for Xbox One and PC with the release of the Forsaken expansion. Thus, players on these two platforms will receive from September 4, 2018:
- Two additional Strikes: Shadow’s Sea (base game) and Terminus of Insight (Warmind)
- Two additional armor sets for each class (from the base game and the Warmind expansion)
- The ship City-Top
- Two additional Crucible maps: Retribution (base game) and Wormhaven (Curse of Osiris)
- The exotic sniper rifle Borealis
Have these contents been denied to you on your platform so far? Are you looking forward to this “additional” content, or are you no longer interested in these exclusives in light of the Forsaken expansion?
