On June 5, 2018, Bungie revealed the Forsaken expansion for Destiny 2. Alongside several editions, an Annual Pass was also introduced, enticing players with premium content. We have summarized all the information for you.
Many fans had been waiting for this. On the evening of June 5, 2018, Bungie officially announced the Forsaken expansion as well as the plans for the second year of Destiny 2. The prices for the various versions of the upcoming autumn expansion, the release date, and details about the Annual Pass – a yearly pass for premium content – were also disclosed.

Forsaken Editions and Annual Pass – Price, Content, Pre-Order
The Forsaken expansion will be available in several versions starting September 4, 2018. Pre-orders are already possible.
- Destiny 2: Forsaken for €39.99
- Destiny 2: Forsaken + Annual Pass for €69.99
- Destiny 2: Forsaken Digital Deluxe Edition for €79.99
The Digital Deluxe Edition includes the Forsaken expansion, the Annual Pass, and the Awakened Legends Set consisting of:
- Ornament for Legendary Bow “Majestic Wrath”
- Emblem “Paladin’s Lament”
- Vestian Ghost Shell
Pre-order Bonuses: For pre-orders of all editions, there is the “Cayde’s Exotic Hideout” package. This includes:
- Exotic Ornament “Last Leaf” for the Hand Cannon
- Exotic Ship “Heart Queen”
- Exotic Emote “Stalemate”
- Armor Shader “Cayde-6 Palette”

Annual Pass: Those who want to enjoy Year 2 to the fullest will have to pay. Bungie promises a faster content flow for this.
Seasonal updates and live events will be available for all players, but with the Forsaken Annual Pass, buyers receive additional bonus rewards and three premium content packages. The premium DLCs Black Armory, Joker’s Wild, and Penumbra are expected to be released in Winter 2018, Spring 2019, and Summer 2019 (until August 31, 2019).
