In Destiny 2, you can now find the new second aspect for your Stasis class. We will show you how to do this and where to find all 9 Entropic Shards on Europa.
What’s new: Players can customize their new Stasis classes in Beyond Light much more than the traditional focuses. This is enabled by the “Aspect and Fragment” system. For almost 2 weeks, Guardians have been wondering where to get the 2nd aspect for their Warlock, Titan, or Hunter.
We have good news: You can unlock the 2nd Stasis aspect starting now. This will make your icy abilities even nastier.
Are there any prerequisites? Yes. In order for you to even hunt for the new Stasis aspect, you must meet some prerequisites.
You must have completed the questline “Born in Darkness, Parts 1-3”. For that, you should have found your first Stasis aspect and acquired the exotic Stasis launcher. Players also report that you must have located the massive Exo in Bray Exo Science first.
This is how you complete “Born in Darkness, Part 4” in Destiny 2
You start the questline with the Stranger Exo on Europa in the area “Beyond”. Then you need to master 6 steps. In between, you also have to undertake the quest “Aspect of Destruction”, where you need to locate all 9 Entropic Shards.
Quest Step 1: Achieve 50 Kills with Stasis abilities.
- It doesn’t matter where you land the kills, so you can continue with your other tasks or farm.
- This step goes really quickly in the weekly Shadow Zone. Because here, your Stasis abilities recharge faster. Until the reset on November 24, you can find the zone in the “Eventide Ruins” area in the north of Europa.
- The current Shadow Zone is always marked by a yellow pyramid on the map.
Quest Step 2: Head into the Strike playlist “Nightfall: The Ordeal” and show off your Stasis skills.
- You must complete 3 Nightfalls while equipped with a Stasis focus.
- You also need to influence 60 enemies with Stasis abilities.
- It doesn’t matter if you eliminate them, freeze them, or slow them down.
- The difficulty of Nightfall: The Ordeal doesn’t matter – so just pick the 1180 version and have an easy time.
Quest Step 3: Defeat the forces of the House of Salvation.
- Select the quest step on the Europa map and mark it.
- Now follow the marker to the “Creation” area – which is located behind the “Bray Exo Science” in the west.
- In a lab area, a Pyramid Shard will appear, step up and fight the few Fallen.
- Then ideally stay exactly where you are.
Quest Step 4: Bring the Skeleth key to the Stranger Exo.
- Open the Europa map and select the new quest marker in the “Creation” area.
- Then delve deeper into the underground lab.
- You will need to jump over several platforms and let yourself fall through holes in the floor.
- Your goal is reached when you arrive at the head of the gigantic Exo.
- Here you will then listen to an exciting story dialog between 3 members of the Bray family.
Quest Step 5: Return to the Stranger Exo.
- Head back to the “Beyond” area and talk to the Exo.
- She now has another task for you before you can finally hold the new aspect in your hands.
- You need to find all 9 Entropic Shards on Europa.

Quest Step 6: Visit the Crux of Darkness in “RIIS Reborn Access”.
- Select the quest step in the far north of Europa and follow the marker.
- When you arrive at the Pyramid Shard, a fight awaits you.
- Prepare for an overload champion.

Find all 9 Entropic Shards for “Aspect of Destruction”
You have already found and destroyed at least 3 Entropic Shards (Entropic Shards). Since the raid in the Deep Stone Crypt was mastered by the first Guardians, the doors in the “Bray Exo Science” have opened to the “Creation” area.
Here you will find the previously unreachable 9th and final Entropic Shard.

This is what your new Stasis Aspect can do for Warlocks, Hunters, and Titans
If you have fulfilled all tasks of the Stranger Exo to the satisfaction of the time-traveling lady, you will finally receive your 2nd Stasis Aspect.
You select it through your Stasis class menu and can assign supporting fragments to it if you wish. The new aspect differs depending on your class:
- Frostpulse (Warlocks): When you use your Rift, it creates a Stasis shockwave that freezes everything nearby.
- Shroud of Winter (Hunters): Your dodge jump slows down enemies in the surrounding area.
- Tectonic Harvest (Titans): When you shatter a Stasis crystal, you create a Stasis shard. This grants you or your team melee energy.
